Over the last 12 months, we have been working closely with Optimal Internet to enhance our online presence and make better use of our company website to attract clients and candidates. As a business critical tool, our website was totally rebuilt in 2007 to achieve our initial objectives to create better functionality, update our design and get more visitors to our site. This was effectively achieved and as a result we have closed some high value business deals through both candidate placements and new client development. Our European division in particular is benefiting from our growth online and we continue to receive a good return on investment from our website.

We are now undergoing further software and design upgrades in line with the managed service agreement with Optimal Internet. This will ensure that we embrace the latest technology from a functional, search engine and e-recruitment perspective to take us to the next step in our online development during 2008. Apart form receiving in excess of five times our investment back in the first year, the service and support provided by Bruce Stander and his team have ensured our success. I am looking forward to our up and coming upgrade and to the improved success of our e-recruitment strategy. Damia Group had persisted with a somewhat out of date and very flat non-interactive website for 5 years. The site did not align itself with the Damia Groups’ current marketing or business strategy.
