Social Media – Employers Are Watching You !
Ok so we live in a world of Social Media and everyone is using it , employers take from it to help grow their businesses ,however what happens when Employers look into the coming and goings of Social Media within the workplace ?.
Not so long ago an employee got fired for selecting on the profile of Linkedin that the employee was “Interested in career oppertunities” I thought is this going to far ?
I looked at the responses within groups of linked in (where i found out about this ) and now it seems that companies are looking into policing the useage of employee Linkedin accounts by requesting usernames and passwords so the management could periodically look over their account.
To me there is possibly more to the story ,however the fact remains that employers are now looking at how you are using your Linkedin account.
